After the newly startup of the National Grand Theater program, a new upsurge of building theater had risen all over the country. Zhejiang Province, taking the chance of the 7th Art Festival, led the field in theater construction of the country. Moreover, more than ten super theaters were built in around the Hangzhou Gulf, one of the furthest developed regions of economy in Zhejiang Province.However, the ubiquity of craving for greatness and success, blindly pursuing the goal and competition amid the cities exists in the construction of these theaters. Thereby, a lot of problems occurred, such as inconsequence of the theater function, digression between the technics design and practical using, management and performance problems, etc. Many of the theaters costed plenty of manpower and material resources, but they could not be able o maitain themselves after the completion. The burden of heavy bank loan and extremely high management cost, the shortage of the performance, and the extremely unsaturated market are the major reasons behind this phenomenon, leading to enormous negative influence is to the society.This paper aims to provide some favorable references to the practical operationof the theatre construction in our country. It tries to search for the solutions to the problems of blindly investment and construction, and seek after some criterions and rules for the development of the the theatre construction, so as to promote the development of the cultural enterprise of our country.
