Years lately, along with the rapid development of science and technology, nuclear power plant (NPP)'s main control room has gone through three main stages: MCR based on analog modules, MCR with mixed application of analog and digital, and integrated digitized MCR. Based on network technology and digitized computer technology, the new generation of digitalized MCR is distributed computer monitor system. And due to the complexity of NPP and their mass equipment providers, the major research work will focus on how to reduce software development cycle and improve the efficiency, and how to create a reliable and effective communication among different equipments, which is also the key reason to introduce OPC (OLE for Process Control) technology.Due to the complexity of NPP and importance of instrumentation and control system, it's impossible to directly install the equipment and systems on the real NPP site and do testing and system operating.
