Design And Implement Of The Electric Locomotive's Remote Energy Consumption Monitoring Device

The number of the electric locomotive becomes larger and larger, and the energy consumption also becomes more and more. So the requirement of the measure precision on energy consumption is better and better. Meanwhile, scientific statistic of the energy consumption, scientific management and the direction to drivers'saving manipulation is becoming more and more important. So we should master enough data to realize it. The device that can measure electric locomotive energy consumption is immediately needed.The research on"The Monitoring & Statistic System of Electric Locomotive's Remote Energy Consumption"is put forward to satisfy the railway's power supply section and maintenance section. And it can fulfill the automation, real-time and exact measurement of energy consumption in the electric locomotive. What's more, it can offer important data to realize measurement and statistic of locomotive's energy consumption according to drivers, time slices, locomotives, and sections.Firstly, this paper describes the design of the whole system structure and method to fulfill it. And then the monitoring device used in the locomotive is specified in detail. After that, we discuss the processing method in multiple situation, and the technology of data transmission by GPRS, and the anti-jamming method and technique applied, such as filter, data verifying.Based on the advanced energy measure method, GPRS wireless data transmission and data collection by the single chip, the system makes the exact measure of the electric locomotive's energy consumption, and the dynamic monitoring of locomotive's quality and data real-time transmission be a reality.At present, the system has already been tested and debugged in the railway locales, and it has been produced and used in practice. We are glad to see that the basic function has reached the designing requirement. Meanwhile, we have received good feedback from the customers.
