Now China is the second energy producer in the world, the continued growth of energy supply has provided important support for economic and social development. But the continued growth of China’s total use of energy has become the world’s largest energy consumer. At present our country energy use patterns has been unable to support the rapid development of economy, we must strengthen the consumption of energy management, adhere to the science road of sustainable development. Building direct energy consumption in the proportion is about28%of the total energy consumption society, construction has become China’s largest energy consumption, building energy efficiency become the most important aspect of energy conservation of the whole society. Unit energy consumption of buildings in China is2-3times higher than in the United States and other countries in Europe, now the existing buildings of nearly40billion square meters, building energy conservation transformation of space is very large, so building energy consumption monitoring system is the main basis for energy management and energy saving transformation.In this paper, according to the specific needs of building energy conservation work, based on the wireless network (ZigBee and GPRS) of building energy consumption monitoring and management system, mainly on the original system information platform of urban building energy monitoring and management improvement. In this paper, design the overall system, including the system overall function structure and network scheme, etc., and some parts of the system function design; Software design of communication part for building energy consumption monitoring system, including the terminal acquisition node, the coordinator and relay routing node; Part of data acquisition hardware design circuit was given; Studied the routing algorithm for ZigBee and energy efficient routing algorithm, and put forward a routing algorithm based on energy efficient building energy consumption monitoring network, the algorithm considers the node’s residual energy and the path hop problem, the simulation results show that the algorithm to balance the node energy consumption, to some extent, prolong the span life of the network. Finally, design the building energy consumption simulation system, design and display the function of building energy consumption system software.
