| As a substitute for halon, IG541 automatic suppression system has been researched widely in the past ten years. This theme is about engineering design methods and software development of IG541 automatic suppression system, aiming to develop a set of applicable designed method calculated by software.This paper introduces the actual state and development of IG541 fire extinguishing system, as well as its technical parameters, environmental requirements and designed notices, especially introduces its calculation methods, agent quantity calculation, set criteria of reserve quantity, and designed conditions of system pipe network. Besides, it detailed treats of the selection for nominal diameter of agent pipe, and how to determine the resistance factor of pipe, calculate the pressure loss, areas of pressure relief orifice and opening compensation dosage of protected zones, etc. Example is supplied for reference. We also compile a set of engineering software according to IG541 gas fire extinguishing system produced by Nanjing fire protection technology Co., Ltd for practical application. The software is compiled in Visual Basic, and build database (includes engineering database and common database) according to designed method to simplify the data input process by listing common data in program as possible. It mainly adopts data screening to treat and find data, and then submit the inputted or treated data by method of database for convenient exchange and transmit. Flow chart is expatiated at first. The program is mainly divided into 4 parts, and is approved applicable by tests. |
