The Analysis Of Residential Design For The Urban Fringe Area In China

Urban fringe area, as a crossed area of the urban extending and the rural urbanism, is becoming a new rising point of urban economy, with the acceleration of the urbanism process in China. During the booming development of the residential building in urban fringe area, there are many problems should be researched, just as the lag of residential design, the noneffective of land use, the lack of the residential comfort and adapt, and etc. The main content of the research is the developmental direction of the residential design of urban fringe area. On the base of the actuality of the residential design of urban fringe area, the author researched the theory of resident in urban fringe area, analyzed the five types of the familiar resident in the area nowadays, and concluded the principle and system of residential design, and forecasted various types and developmental direction of the residential design in these areas in the future. In the end, the author brought forward a series of relevant countermeasures.
