The Developmental Research On Chongqing Modern Residential Area

Since the 1990s, suburbanization of residence has become an important trend with the residence development in the large city of our country, urban-fringe of large city is the most active suburbanization strip. With spatial restructuring of large city, increasing the number of moving out, a large number of residents from the city center placed in urban-fringe, and became the moved-type settlements which composed mainly by return residential area. This article chooses the return residential area in the urban-fringe of Chongqing city as an object, analyzes the character and the problems in the process of the design of the return residential area in the urban-fringe of Chongqing. Then try out the ideas of the planning against those characteristics and problems, discussing its method of planning and the strategy of community planning, and continuing to discuss how to solve the problems with the method of the planning. We can give some useful suggestions to the design of the return residential area in the future.This article can be divided into three parts:The first part consists of Chapters I and II. The chapter I is mainly about the research background, meaning, purpose and research methods. It explains the related concepts. Based on analysis of the status of the return residential area in the urban-fringe of Chongqing city, the chapter II point out the mainly problems and challenges of the planning this type residences facing.The second part consists of chapters III. Against the problems, this chapter provides theory basis for the move-out residence in the urban-fringe of Chongqing from the angle of ecology, sociology, psychology, and then make out the idea of the planning about this type district.The third part, which including chapter IV and chapter V, is the main part of this article. Chapter IV researches the methods of this type residence from several parts of the move-out residence in the urban-fringe of Chongqing , such as : distribution of the space , construction of planning, residential building and combination fashion, the traffic system design, public allocation services and outdoor environmental design, and discusses the mode of building the community in this type residence.
