Construction hoist is an important vertical transportation equipment in the constructionof the building process, after years of development construction hoist has formed several seriesof products. In recent years, the construction industry in our country has been developingrapidly, and the requirement of the construction hoist is higher and higher. With thedevelopment of computer technology and mechanical CAD technology, product designparameterization,Seriation and intelligent has become the developing directions of all kinds ofconstruction hoist products. In this paper, taking the SC construction hoist for instancedeveloped a CAD system with many features, like parametric, automatic-assembly, bearingcalculation, standard parts library, parts preview function and so on,realizing the SCconstruction hoist product designing automation. And also would be valuable to developmentsystem for other mechanical products. The system selected the Solidworks software which most widely used in machineryindustry. The backend database used ACCESS and the programming language used VB.NET.Firstly,this paper researched the Solidworks API,table driven, equation and otherfunctions. And researched the ACCESS database,ADO.NET,user operations managementtheory,Interface design based on VB.NET and other technology related the CAD systemdevelopment.Secondly, Researching the parametric gallery development technology and the partsautomatic assembly technology. And using the VB.NET language to write the relatedprograms. This system is developed with a simple operation and a friendly user interface. The usercan achieve a variety of functions and improve the design efficiency through this system. Ithas the very good application prospect.
