In car increaseing ownership era,people’s of vehicle comfort,safety and environmental protection have become increasingly demanding,in which the automotive wheel bearings on the comfort and safety of the vehicle played a certain role.With CAD software more powerful,which adds CAE features,in order to reduce the threshold of finite element analysis,I designed the softerware based on SolidWorks secondary development hub bearing,which is the CAD / CAE integration system.The system based on the current situation of the Chongqing Changjiang Bearing Factory,as well as mechanical secondary development of software to VB6.0 and SQL Sever 2014 as a tool for secondary development on the SolidWorks platform.This paper studies the secondary development of SolidWorks,including the specific structure and function of its API,the division’s major interface module,interface objects and inheritance relationships.My works are doing system design,system development of target,coding rules,database design,designing of public modules,the main form of designing,designing landing module and determining program packaging tools.Studying wheel bearings parametric design,automatic assembly,and drawing parametric implementation are my work.This article is related to the geometric parameters and the hub bearings,including clearance,curvature,output at the interface.I need to study VB6.0 application and how to use the database,how programming languages and how databases connected together to achieve the above functions.In addition to the SolidWorks modeling,assembly,research,development of secondary drawings,I especially focus on the implementation SolidWorks Simulation Finite Element Analysis of secondary development module,using secondary development interface provided by SolidWorks Simulation,and establishing by VB6.0language the wheel bearing parametric finite element analysis system.The system include automatic loading,automatic add constraints,automatic adding materials,automatic meshing,automatic analysis,post-processing of data,and how to automatically import into Excel.Simulation tests verify the stiffness analysis of the correctness of secondary development,as well as between the optimized parameters and how to program permutations and combinations.The module for difficult to grasp SolidWorksfinite element internal plug Simulation object-oriented design,the background package programming in SolidWorks,the hub bearing 3D modeling,finite element analysis,and export the results to Excel,a special parameter input interface,making finite element design of the bearing tends to simple,reducing the threshold for finite element analysis.Above all,This paper complete parametric design,analysis of wheel bearings and CAD / CAE systems which is the integration secondary development on SolidWorks platform.
