| Dwelling is the earliest architecture type, and is also the architecture type which has large mount of constructions. Dwelling is not supplementing each other with environment and life style, but also has its own materialize space shape and nationality obviously. The courtyard in Chinese traditional dwelling contains the Chinese two thousands traditional life and cultural as the most important elements of dwelling. It has the most important cultural and social value, and use for important reference in architecture design and human environment's construction. With the study extends, we accumulated a lot of invaluable experience . This thesis makes use of behavior psychology to study the Chinese traditional courtyard in order to dig up its value deeply.Different courtyard space shape embodiment different architecture cultural feature. Beijing Siheyuan dwelling, Wannan Huizhou dwelling, Suzhou dwelling is respectively example of the combination courts style, limited court style and blend court style. The behavior psychology gives the straight direction to architecture space design as the branch of psychology. This thesis uses the theory of behavior mental demand to analyze three courtyard spaces, and compare three spaces with the point of comfort, security, personality, adscription, domain and the self-realization. In this way to study we can dig and use for reference the Chinese traditional dwelling courtyard space's value and experience to provide the useful reference for the modern times architecture design and human environment design. |
