Project Pavement Management System Based On Gray System Theory

Pavement management system systematizes pavement management course by system analysis method, considered technique, economy, society and polity etc, it is divided into network level system and project level system generally.With the expressway construction's development in our county, maintenance management work is heavy more and more, that indicates in the following aspects that the expressways built in early days mostly have already neared to their service life, needing to be reconstructed, the ones built lately also have damage of various degrees for many reasons, and the expressway management is lagged in our country. For expressway facilities damaged can be repaired in time, assuring expressways are unblocked, enhancing expressway's efficiency, extending expressway's service life, maintenance management will be laid a strong emphasis in transportation work from now on, so pavement management system is important more and more.Pavement management system is introduced into our country in 1980's, researches about it begin late, data collection means of pavement condition are backward for the limit of economic technique level, and reliable data are in the very scarce for person's reason. The paper combines "model of few of data" features of gray system, and project management system based on gray system theory is proposed in it for enhancing the prediction level of pavement performance and strengthening decision-making of pavement maintenance management.This paper studied on two key issues: the forecast of pavement performance by constructing gray-time series combined model; the optimization of project level pavement management decision-making system.It analyses pavement performance from the functional performance, structural performance, structural contradiction, safety performance, appearance performance etc, discussed the assessment of pavement performance. Based on the analysis of the method which forecast the pavement performance, considering the factors affecting the pavement performance, and according to the actual pavement maintenance management, proposed the gray-time series combined model based on gray theory.
