Method Research On Urban Design In Regulatory Plan

Regulatory plan plays an important role in national current urban planning system. Theoretically regulatory plan have an excellent maneuverability, but in practice its function of regulation always can not be implemented as for the people's misunderstanding. One key reason for this lies in that we don't put enough emphasis on the method research of urban desigh when in regulatory planning so that urban design can not be put into effect.The function of regulatory plan includes two aspects: one is to control the quantity of land use, the other is focusing on the quality of urban shape and space environment. Those two aspects have a close relation to urban design. Therefore research on urban design in regulatory plan will help understand those aspects more accurately.This structure of this article is as follows: firstly, to make research on the interrelatin of regulatory plan and urban design in national urban planning system;secondly,to analyze the problems in making,approval and implementation of current regulatory plan from the angle of urban design;thirdly, to illuminate the function mechanism,thoery and principle of urban design in regulatory plan; and finally put forward the urban design method in regulatory plan.The focus of this article is to make research on the combination of urban design and regulatory making through the understanding of interrelation of regulatory plan and urban design. The purpose of this article is to make regulatory plan more scientifically and reinforce the execution of regulatory plan.The content includes four parts, namely:Part 1: it summarizes the background, purpose,status quo and conclusions of current research, and points out the necessity of method research of urban design and interrelation between the regulatory plan and urban design.Part 2: Firstly, it introduces the regulatory plan and urban planning, analyzes the interrelation of regulatory and urban design, and illuminates the close relation in regulatory factor between regulatory plan and urban design; Secondly, it summarizes the problems in current regulatory plan, especially in the making and approval of regulatory plan; Finally, introduces the emergence of urban design research in regulatory plan.
