By analyzing shopping centers of America, Japan, Europe and southeastern Asia, this article states that some places of China have the right opportunity to develop large shopping centers, and large shopping center which has supper function out of its own regions have reached its limitation, but regional shopping centers will fully expand with the development of urbanization in China.In zone planning of regional shopping centers, four problems as follows should be solved:1 .to introduce international supermarket retail-dealers;2.to intensify experience designing;3.to arrange reasonable layout of shopping center;4.to research all kinds of equipments and request of designing.Besides, to be success in a long run, regional shopping centers should emphasize their regional culture, ecology and nature, individual creativity with conditions of promoting efficiency.
