Universal Design Based On The Features Of Physical Dynamics

With the improvement of the whole social living standard and the progress of medical technology, the number of the old and the disabled has been growing. The particular physical and psychological barriers of such all kinds of people make them live in trouble state. But they still desire to join in the social activities and to work. So, favor conditions in their working and living environments should be created to help them overcome their psychological and physical barriers so that they can live an independent life like other healthly people.The research into the universal design of products (in the broad sense) is a very significant subject. So the universal design of products should take into consideration the requirements of the healthy (to prevent them from developing new physical and psychological barriers) and the particular requirements of the elderly and the disabled. This paper tries to explore the issue from the features of physical dynamics and universal design. Based on the analysis of biological dynamic features of the healthy, the old and the disabled people, this paper puts forward some helpful suggestion for universal design.
