| Jingzhou is a national historic city, the biggest features in this city are ancient city and water. The relation between famous Jingzhou historic city and its water environment is inseparable. They have the long history and deep cultural connotation. Presently, our country is being in the period of the high-speed city development. In the course of city development of Jingzhou, the city also faces the illogicality of protection and development, a lot of problems have appeared as many other cities, the historical style and features and city water system of Jingzhou historic city have been demolished in different degree. It is worthy of rejoice that the historic city protection and water resource utilization are regarded by people more and more.
