The design and manufacture of investment casting mould to turbine blade is "bottleneck" of development period of turbine blade which is thermic core component of aeroengine;the especial complexity of manufacture and craft process makes the current and common CAPP system unable to aim at investment casting mould to turbine blade who's structure and part shape is complicated to reach high quality and high-efficient application. So, this paper aiming at manufacturing craft of investment casting mould to turbine blade and existing resource characteristic of technological laboratory of numerical control, conducts an in-depth investigation in core function module to CAPP --Design theory and implementing scheme of craft rules design, and according to accumulated experience, using knowledge-based reasoning technology, Initially develops a more practical prototype system for craft rules design of Investment casting mould to turbine blade;shorten the planning cycle of investment casting mould manufacturing process;make the development of product more economical;and lay a good foundation for the full implementation information-based manufacturing of technological laboratory of numerical control.This paper is on the basis of analysis of structure and shape characteristic of Investment casting mould to turbine blade, combining existing examples of manual workout craft rules, carries out overall design of craft rules design system of Investment casting mould to turbine blade, and has launched the research and development to each module of the system as follows:1. Have set up the part information model, to solve the computer internal storage, identification and transmission problems with part information, combining CAD/CAPP/CAM integrated system requirements for part information, and the structure of Investment casting mould to turbine blade and its parts' structure.2. Have adopted the craft route idea based on characteristic and operation that coordinate each other;have set up the craft rules design model and offered a system and effective theoretical foundation and implementing scheme for realization of the system function.3. Have summed up the system craft data and the content of the knowledge, have realized the expression and acquisition of craft knowledge, and have set up corresponding craft database and knowledge.4. Have finished the development of the system prototype, got the satisfying cases and achieved the expected results showing that the researchmethod in the paper is reasonable and effective. But to enhance the system's overall performance and truly make it more practical, in-depth research and development work need to be done.
