| The city of Gui Yang, a capital city of Gui Zhou, is an open inland city, servingas a critical transportation communications, an industrial base and a critical trade andtourism service. To some extent, the development of the municipal roadtransportation could either restrict or promote the overall development orientation ofthe whole city. Thus it is highly important to word out ways to municipal roadtransportation. This paper points out the existing problems of Guiyang transportationby analyzing Guiyang's present transportation condition. The objective for municipaltransportation is brought up after an analysis on factors influencing municipaltransportation. Measures on solving problems of municipal transportation arediscussed from several aspects such as city layout and transportation, need, citytransportation constructive and transportation need, road net construction,transportation for passerby, parking lot layout and management, as well as sustainabledevelopment for municipal road transportation. |
