More and more attention was put on the risk of underground construction in recent years. And the selection of the evaluation method decides the evaluation result, so the choice of the evaluation method is very important for people. The control of the construction time is one of the important controls of tunnel (funds, quality and time). Once the construction time went amuck, the others should be influenced. So the study of the construction time is very important to us.Firstly, the author introduce all the methods of the risk analysis, and the methods be divided to qualitative analysis methods, quantitative analysis methods, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and all the improvement methods. The virtues, shortcomings and the applications have been tabulated. In the article, the choice principles of the evaluation methods for tunnel have been given. It been decided by the ultimate objective of the researchers and the information achieved.The evaluation pattern of tunnel can be classified into construction time pattern, endurance pattern, environmental effect pattern and economy pattern. The author gives the best methods for these patterns and analysis the construction time pattern particularly.The factors that influence the construction time and all the consequences have been analyzed. The construction time be divided to time advance and time delay. To the time delay, the author choice the fault tree analysis (FTA) method. To the time advance, the fault tree analysis(FTA) method and the fuzzy synthesis evaluation method be exercised together. Furthermore, the author introduced the constituent.parts of construction time loss. Trough the fuzzy mathematic and the statistical results, the author give the degree of the interdependence for every risk degree of the construction time, and get the formula to a engineering.Finally, the author give the early warning model index of construction time and corresponding early warning principle, and an early warning model is built with the theoretical and practical values. By it,the effective early warning can be realized.
