| This thesis regards the viewpoint of sustainable development as the guideline when studying the characteristics of urban landscape at urban fringe. It has chosen the urban fringe of Wuhan city as the case study area, and analyzed the current situation and problems of landscape resource composition at Wuhan'urban fringe. It makes a reservation according to the historical evolution and the opportunities and challenges faced , bringing forward the construction assumption of landscape characteristics of Wuhan's urban fringe. Furthermore it aimed at the realistic problem of, which is very popular in urban fringes, only concerning on economic benefit while neglecting the urban landscape and environmental quality. It proposed a dynamic landscape control system based on modern theories and methods of urban design, strenthening the conduction on landscape characteristic constructions in Wuhan's urban fringes, in order to build beautiful, healthy, safe and comfortable urban space and environment along with other landscape characteristic configurations in central areas, and promote the balance of ecology, society, economy and sustainable development. |
