Study On Urban Fringe Transforming Based On Eco-city Construction

With the deep development of urbanization, China’s economy has been rapid development.And at the same time, it brought a series of social crisis, environment crisis and culture crisis onrural-urban fringe which is coming in increasing numbers. Its basically behave in: a large numberof illegal buildings, the crowded dwellings, the harsh living environment, the illegal behavior ofaggregation, the low cultural ethos, etc. In order to solve above-mentioned problems, manyscholars has been researched it from different perspectives. Form the perspective of the eco-cityconstruction, this paper selects agriculture-related street as a typical sample of rural-urban fringe,and affirms the construction of ecological streets as a hierarch of ecological city construction. Thispaper thinks construction of ecological city streets is the opportunity to change the current situationof crisis.Currently, China’s ecological street examination includes two requirements which are indexrequirement and basic conditions. The indicator assessment and questionnaire means iscorresponding to the requirements. The agriculture-related street always uses eco-towns indexsystem when applying the title of eco-city. The index system which is matching with ecologicalstreet is absent. All streets design the questionnaire by themselves. The standardized questionnaireis absent, too. Actually, the eco-towns index is not suitable for evaluating ecological street. That’sbecause of three reasons: firstly, the eco-towns index is more inclining to ecological agriculture andecological rural appraisal in the proportion of index. Secondly, the requirements of eco-townsindex beyond the scope of duty of rural-urban fringe. Thirdly, the condition of the eco-towns indexis high standards in rural-urban fringe which is impossible to reach. Because of its autonomy, thereare a variety of kinds of questionnaires. That leads to the questionnaire lack of uniformity andnormative. On the basis of eco-towns index, this paper revises indexes, deletes indexes, subjoinnew indexes. Then, a new ecological evaluation index which is suitable for agriculture-related street is created. It makes up the vacant position in index system and designs standardizedquestionnaires on the basis of empirical study.On the basis of the above research, With the Case of Hongtang Street, the data of this paperwere obtained by means of data analysis, questionnaires and interviews. The writer analyzes everyindex data whether reach the standard, and gets conclusion about Hongtang street ecologicalsituation and deficiency. Then it puts forward the suggestions for reform. Firstly, we shouldconstruct ecological habitat which focus on the improvement of infrastructure and public servicesystem. Secondly, we should construct ecological environment which combination of ecologicalprotection and pollution prevention. Thirdly, we should construct ecological economic whichregards low carbon economy and circular economy as the core. Fourth, we should constructecological cultural which account building a harmonious society for the goal.
