The balance beam is the important structure piece of the bulldozer,its both ends connect with the hoof frame , and its middle connects withthe frame for the balance beam . The balance beam pays to accept thebulldozer bedrock forepart, in some condition ,it can make the hoof framedo some swing under the condition of an uneven road surface. The levelof designing the balance beam is important for the whole bulldozer'sperformance.At present, there are mainly two types of balance beam on the bulldozer.One is the welding beam in box form, another is the whole model forgingbeam. Usually, the balance beam on the bulldozer is the welding beam inbox form, and there are many research about this kind of balance beam.For the whole model forging beam, there is less research than the weldingbeam in box form. Basing the above reasons, this thesis does some workabout the whole model forging beam, such as the analyzing in the finiteelement method, and the designing methods' research.The first part of this thesis introduces the structure of the balancebeam simply, its functions when it is equipped on the bulldozer, thesituation about the research of the balance beam in the home and broad,and the direction of it.The second part of this thesis crates a mechanic model of the balancebeam of the SD8D high drive bulldozer, analyses it with the theory, andcheck it with the statics. Through the result from the computing, theresult that the material and the section are fit for the need of the using.The designing is in reason.The third part of this thesis expatiate the basic principle of thefinites element theory, and gives the important formulas. Also, sum upthe finite element softwares in system, summarizes the functions and thesteps to solve a question of the large and currency finite element softwareANSYS.The fourth part of this thesis does a analyse about the balance ofthe bulldozer in the statics, expatiates the process of a analyse withthe finite element method from the geometry model to the stress nephogram,and obtains a series of results from the analyse. All these results areimportant for the design of the balance beam.The fifth part of this thesis does a dynamic analyse about the SD8Dbulldozer' balance beam, a series of informations are obtained from theresults, such as the positions of the biggest stress and the biggestdisplacement of the balance beam when it receives a moment impact load.And so on.The sixth part of the thesis is about a statics test, from which wecan see that the finite element analysis is in reason.The seven part of this thesis are the conclusion and outlooks, givethe main conclusion of the full text, and put forward the thorough researchcontents of the next move.
