The Conservation And Regeneration Of The Historic Buildings In Shanghai

The Historic Buildings in Bund District is the witness of prosperity of mordem Shanghai, but the dilapidated front of them is one of the reasons which have conditioned the progress of the block that they stand in. The thesis did research on the special case in this district, Ci'anli Building, from three aspects which are the changes in the history, the existing problems and the countermeasures of the conservation and regeneration. Proving up its status and heritage value and prospecting for the possibilities of regeneration on the basis of circumstances, it searched for a new way to resolve the questions of the Historic Buildings which left over by history.
