The Creation Of Intelligent Examination Question Database In Nanyang Dispatcher Training Simulator System

With the development of information and network technology, traditional mode of generating examination paper by hand is turning to computer-based mode. In this situation, the system of examination question database is researched constantly, and many systems have been put into action. Examination system based on computer can make full use of resource in examination question database, and the impacts of artificial factor on examination can be avoided effectively. So, the efficiency can be raised largely. This system of intelligent examination question database is a part of Nanyang electric power dispatcher training simulator system (DTS). Its aim is to provide a platform for examination question database management and examination, and to promote the dispatchers' studying. Then, dispatchers can grow up fast. This system includes two subsystems, one is examination question database and the other is on-line test. Main functions, such as examination question management, examination paper generation, examination users' management, on-line test, and security setting are provided. Firstly, general design planning of the system of intelligent examination question database is put forward in this paper. The module structure and functions, development tool, technology of access to data are also presented. Furthermore, key technologies of the implement of this system are researched. After analyzing the definition of the difficulty of examination questions based on classical test theory and item response theory, the generating flexibly of examination paper scheme is built. How to arrange text with graph is solved when the save and list of test questions are not in the same computer. Besides, how to deal with faults in module of on-line test is discussed. At last, the subsystem of examination questions management and the subsystem of on-line test are implemented and analyzed in detail. The implemented system has the functions of the common examination question database, and the particularity of electricity has been considered, too. The interface is friendly and operation is simply in this system. The system has been put in practice, and running steadily, which meets the development demands.
