By which, various types of examination database for different majors obtains an extensive development and application.The database in this paper is based on the Visual Basic 6.0, which combines with Access database technology, the practical situation of teaching management as well as professional education, to develop a suitable examination database system for electrical major teaching. This examination database integrates assessment requirements and professional teaching needs of electrical major together, to provide various functions such as questions input, editing, topic selection, generating test papers and so on. It even can complete the test paper generation automatically based on different conditions. The research in this article includes research background, purpose, integrated system design, modular function realization, design environment and technology, database management, manual generating test paper, auto generating test paper and so on.The completion of this database will be not only conducive to improve the teaching quality and promote the updates of teaching methods, but also reinforce the professional knowledge teaching. Meanwhile, the Database will also provide a scientific and effective teaching resources management, sharing tools and an open platform for electric teaching. At the same time, this database can be transplanted and applied to the other majors’ examination database construction very easily.
