The contained underground nuclear explosion tests can be divided into two kinds,the shaft underground nuclear tests and the tunnel underground nuclear tests. In the tunnel underground nuclear tests,many kinds of the galleries within a certain range to the blast point are arranged. These galleries can be divided into two kinds according to the propagation direction of the shock wave from the blast point:(1) the tangential gallery;(2) the radial gallery. When the nuclear explosion takes place, powerful blasting wave will be produced in blast point,they deliver power energy outwardly through the rock dielectric and produce damaging function to the gallery. Primarily this text studies at the damage of the tangential gallery in the certain distance relative to the blast point and take some measures in order to protect the gallery. Firstly,the speed-time frequency curve of the nuclear explosion wave in the protective range of the tangential gallery is made,which based on the summary of mechanical effects and test data from previous occasions of underground nuclear tests. Secondly,some research on failure regulation about the tangential gallery are improved. Thirdly,the steel framing design scheme which can enhance the protecting of the main body of the gallery is put forward. So we could establish a protecting compound structural system of unit in the gallery under nuclear explosion function. Theoretical analyses are provided in order to research the steel framing structure. The analysis considered include the function of dynamic force of the material,geometric nonlinear and material nonlinear of the structural member. Engineering calculative method are established for the steel framing structure in the gallery that endure nuclear explosion. Take a project for example,use the finite element programming ANSYS to analyze the dynamic force responds of the model with wall rock and compound protecting structure together,study the protecting and reinforcement effects for the gallery in order to offer guarantees for the nuclear test task.
