Since Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy(BSE) prevails in the world, it is urgent to invent the instrument that can detect the BSE pathogenic. This dissertation has described a BSE Pathogen Rapid Autoanalyzer. Firstly, it has described that the detect principle of the BSE Pathogen Rapid Autoanalyzer. And then, the auto-test scheme has been designed, which is based on the virtual instrument. This scheme makes up of testing process automation and testing data management. Test automation of the BSE Pathogen Rapid Autoanalyzer includes three parts. One is the mechanical execution units, including the horizontal moving flat-form and suction. The second one is control circuits, including hardware components and software components. The third is the step management of the instrument movement, which computes the next step according to the instrument state. Test data management of the BSE Pathogen Rapid Autoanalyzer must save the test data for analysis. Test data management saves the test data, and other testing information as well, such as mult-well setup information. So, there are a configuration file and a few of data files in the folder. The BSE Pathogen Rapid Autoanalyzer has a detector, which is connected with a computer through USB bus. Controlling and analyzing software plays an important role to display the test data with graph when testing. Finally, implement and application have stated to the BSE Pathogen Rapid Autoanalyzer.
