| The combined substation whose technology is more mature gradually has replaced the substation of residential area and commercial service system. The combined substation has received the affirmation from users for its advantage of little occupancy, quick installation, convenient movement and little investment. So its automation level reflects distribution automation level directly. In fact, the combined substation is a smaller scale and unmanned station. It should possess the basic function of power automation according to power production, running and management and social demand of users. So, it is imperative to develop a kind of automation instrument of the combined substation, the instrument should meet the department's standard and be dependable. This paper discusses the design of the combined substation and its automation instrument. The instrument is based on the idea of model. It is consist of main-control model, sampling-measurement model, display model, switch-control model and the upper computer. It uses Quasi-synchronous sampling method to measure electrical AC parameters and analyze harmonic. It can measure parameters of several AC circuits, display and carry on remote communication. The supervisory and controlling procedure of upper computer isedited by VB; this procedure can analyze all results, handle all switches and manage electric power charges. The user can make up the system of different scale according to different requirement.This design ensures the instrument's comprehensive automation function finished. The instrument could realize not only"remote sensing, telecontrol and remote signaling" but also omni bearing supervisory and controlling and quality management in the course of electric power delivery and operation. It is cheap and easy to expansion. The instrument has excellent popularization perspective in application field of automation modification of combined substation and residential area substation. |
