The hydrounits in qingtongxia hydropower plant of Ningxia are still in service even 30 years after commissioning, the auxiliaries are old and always damage faults by failure of insulation. In recent years, equipments are reformed in qingtongxia hydropower plant, but the computer system isn' t used to monitor the whole plant. Because qingtongxia hydroplant can be used to generate peak power and adjust frequency power, the local control units cannot be shut down or restarted at short intervals, they also lack the operational flexibility to adjust load , so they are unsatisfied the demand of Automatic Generation Control(AGC). With the development of hydroplant and network, and price competition in electric market, in order to match the electric power system reform, qingtongxia hydropower plant requires computer monitoring system.This paper analyses the development of the structure mode of computer monitoring system, the Local Control Unit (LCU) as well as communication system, demonstrates the computer monitoring system and configuration ofqingtongxia hydropower plant. Plant Network adopts rapid Ethernet with the speed of lOOMbps, LCU uses Profibus-DP field bus network which specialized in automatic control system dispersion I/O equipment design. Aimed at the important function of LCU in monitoring system, the flow chart and man machine interface be designed .The monitoring system has been applied in 9# hydrounit of qingtongxia hydropower plant, an excellent result is obtained, which has achieved the unmanned or few manned requirement in soft and hardware configuration and function , So also establishes the good foundation and successful experience for the overall implement of qingtongxia hydro power plant. |
