Through a deep analysis about various design technology on hydroelectric power plant, combining the actual circumstance of the Haidianxia hydroelectric power plant, this thesis systematically elaborates themethod of developing the computer monitoring system. This paper contains the following parts:The importance of hydropower plant computer monitoring system and hydropower unit fault diagnosis is dissertated, meanwhile, the status quo of the computer monitoring system and fault diagnosis is analyzed as well as the main content is discussed.According to the study on the hydropower plant computer monitoring system, it expounds the controlling modes and the choosing of the units of computer monitoring system of Haidianxia hydropower plant and it devises the network system and the LCU (Local Control Unit); It also introduces the functions and the hardware configuration of the controlling level, the LCU level, the public LCU and the network system.On the basis of above parts, the software of computer monitoring system is designed and the sequence control program (start up, shut down) of the hydropower units is emphatically introduced.According to the hydropower unit vibration theory, vibration sources and some vibration fault features of hydropower unit are analyzed and sorted out, and the system is used in the unit of Haidianxia plant, states of the hydropower unit are analyzed and results are discussed. The results are important for hydropower plant practice.
