The autotracking technology to moving carrier is a key question in automatic controlling field. The development of GPS technology makes the location of moving carrier faster and more accurate, it provides a hard basic plate to the realization of autotracking. In military, both guidance and Anti-TBM ask the equipment fast and flexible to locate and track accurately the random or moving goal in order to finish a serial action suck as aiming and track attack. In communication field, the communication between moving carriers and between moving carrier and static carrier depend on autotracking technology such as satellite antenna autotracking system, that is make the antenna fixing in moving carrier toward a certain satellite all the time so that to realize the high quality communication between moving carrier and static satellite. In astronomy field, in order to reach the action rule of a certain celestial body, you must track it all the time. Instead old mechanical manual tracking telescope with autotracking control system can save great deal of workforce and can get rid of the effect of surrounding conditions. At present, many developed countries had produced practical products witch be used in moving satellite communication antenna autotracking system with high price, but our country have none. So it has great realistic meaning to design an antenna autotracking system with high performance and low price and popularize this technology to every trade. The article bases on GPS location technology and combines computer technology, communication technology, servo control technology, singlechip computer technology and so on, to design a system which can autotrack moving goal and give a exhaustive argumentation from hardware choosing to software examination.The main research contents: â… , First, finish the design and choose of hardware, it main includes Servomechanism, dataprocessing unit (single-chip computer, GPS receive etc), they are base of the system, it isthe most important that how to make the system work smoothly with high performanceand low price. â…¡, The function and work truth of every mechanism. Well know the function and work truthof every part and equipment, to know the communication protocol can provide strengththeoretical bases and practical instruction to the design of the whole system. â…¢, Familiar to the software and it's environment and artificial experiment. Software is thebrain of the system, and it instructs hardware how to work. Whether the artificialexperiment can succeed or not concern the success or failure of the real system directly. â…£, System experiment. During the examination, you can find the faults in design and makeevery effort to solve these problems through experiments and argument. Finally draw aconclusion of the best design project.
