The power carrier has a very broad application prospect because it uses the power line resources directly to carry on the data or the voice signal transmission instead of requiring lying down extra communication lines, which has greatly reduced the correspondence cost. But due to the channel pollution of noise and disturbance from power line, the quality of low-pressure power line carrier communication has been seriously affected. This thesis discusses the strong and weak points as well as the development and present situation of power line carrier communication, and analyses the classification and characteristics of noises in the power channel and its effect on signal damping. Based on the analysis of the basic principles and anti-disturbance properties of spread spectrum communication, this paper provides a detailed description of how to realize the low-pressure power line carrier communication.This article selects the fu xing xiao cheng company's new developed chip—--PL3200. This chip has two special functions that are electrical energy measurement and the power line Carrier communication. The latter function is mainly applied in this thesis. The chip makes use of such digital treatment technology as the advanced direct sequence wide frequency, the digital signal processing, and the direct digital frequency synthesis and so on, and has enormously enhanced the correspondence reliability. The paper introduces the hardware and software realization designed with PL3200 chip of the carrier transmitting and receiving circuit, and briefly analyzes the experimental results.The low-pressure power line Carrier communication is an extremely practical issue. But so far no satisfactory result has been achieved yet in the field in our country. This paper makes a further exploration of the low-pressure power line Carrier communication technology. Practice has proved that the plan is feasible, and has a high application value and contains certain innovation significance.
