Street lighting is a major power consumer in the non-industrial electricity in our country,which has the characteristics of large quantity and great energy-saving potential.However,it is difficult to regulate these lights efficiently,so intelligentizing the electronic ballast for street lamp has become a research hotspot.Among the numerous factors in the design of the street lighting system,the control method and the cost performance are preferentially considered.In this paper,the network system of intelligent electronic ballast for street lamp is designed by using power line as communication carrier and MCU as the controller,and the layered network is adopted also in this network system.With these designs,the cost performance of the street lighting system is improved.And on the basis of this design,the carrier communication experiment of the electronic ballast network system is realized in this thesis.Firstly,the design scheme of the network system of electronic ballast for street lamp is discussed.The system network is constracted with a two-layers and the communication between the various street lamps is realized by power line carrier communication.Furthermore,the hardware structure of the carrier communication of electronic ballast for street lamp is designed based on the principle of power line carrier communication.Secondly,based on the dimming principle of electronic ballast,PL3106 is used as the control chip to realize the intelligent control of street lamp.The hardware circuit is designed and the carrier communication circuit is analyzed in detail.Thirdly,Modbus protocol is used to design the control command of the network system of electronic ballast for street lamp.The control diagram of the network simulation system of electronic ballast for street lamp is analyzed in detail,and the subroutines are called by main program.Finally,the test of the carrier communication circuit of the electronic ballast simulation network system is realized in this thesis.The waveform and data of the power line carrier communication between the terminals of the street lamp are analyzed in detail.Similarly,the data sent and received by the host computer,and the PWM output from the PL3106 are tested and analyzed.The results indicate that the communication of the designed simulation system of street lamp electronic ballast is realized successfully,and the host computer can control street lamp terminals continuously.
