The concept of smart-house, which prevailed overseas, has been accepted in civil as the development of era and the elevation of life quality level. Power line is a physical media in a most common use and greatest coverage, so it became an easy choice of smart-house network communication media. At the same time, derived from the conventional high-voltage power line communication technology, the low-voltage one developed rapidly and makes the smart-house, based in low-voltage power line carrier communication technology, become a burgeoning market. In recent years, there has been much domestic application use the low-voltage power line as communication media, but most of those systems mainly depend on the overseas power line carrier chip to establish hardware system, and combine simple software to make the power line media a transmissible transparent channel. Few of the application are faced to smart-house automation and network technology, especially to the key: home network protocol. This paper study the home network communication protocol based on the software design of low-voltage power line carrier communication module, which is exactly combined power line communication and smart-house technology. It, mainly includes:1. Constructing a full layered communication protocol module, with reference to the network communication protocol model of OSI and overseas home automation bus.2. Implementing the whole communication protocol at the certain language developing software platform and application measurement hardware platform.3. Discussing channel coding technology and network communication in digital channel and processing the error control with FEC, ARQ, CRC, FCS, CSMA/CD and other several arithmetic on low-voltage power line data transforming, according to the real low-voltage power line channel.
