This paper uses the development process of XiaoJingWu hydropower station as engineering practise, combines with the project of "study in cleaning system at infall of hydropower station", it discusses main factors need to be considered in the overall technical plan and equipment selection of small-size hydropower station. It emphasizes on the pervasive problem with cleaning system at infall of hydropower station. This paper achieves following results:1. Designs the overall technical plan and construction drawing of XiaoJingWu hydropower station, including the design and selection of stone dams, no-pressure tunnels, channels, pressure ponds, pressure pipes, factory buildings, electrical equipments and hydraulic machineries.2. Uses historical data of water flows of comparable hydropower stations in the calculation of the water flows of XiaoJingWu hydropower station, to improve the accuracy of calculation of water power and to ensure the output of power station meet the targets.3.
