With the development of the power of turbine unit, vibration becomes the most important factors that influence the safe and reliable operation of the unit. More and more parameters need to be monitored in power station. Traditional measuring instruments have severe disadvantages in analyses, evaluation, and information exchanging. Virtual instruments based on Micro-hardware platform are used in many fields now. Virtual instruments are being used widely in power system now.Some new methods in data acquiring, fault diagnosing and monitoring of rotating machinery vibration are presented in the paper. Virtual vibration monitoring and analysis system based on LabVIEW is developed.Vibration signal analyses system and intelligent man-machine interface based on LabVIEW are developed in the thesis.Virtual rotating machinery balance system based on LabVIEW is also developed including single plane balance, two-plane balance and the harmonic balance methods, which are used in power plant widely now.Conclusion and further consideration are given in the end of the paper.
