Bridge Evaluation Expert System

Bridges are the key way of transport lines .If bridge whose technical status is not good could not be maintained and reinforced in time , it will not only be the local bottle-neck of whole line ,but also hidden trouble to passing vehicles. As a result , it is very important regarding bridge evaluating as the proofs of bridge maintain and reinforce.These are many facts which affect bridge evaluation, and the their relation is complex. On the other hand, evaluation has close relation with human project experience, and this make evaluation contains many variable factors. It is impossibility to build a math model and describe it precisely, but it can be deal with by artificial intelligence technique etc: expert system. Bridge evaluation expert system, using computers to simulate experts who have plenty of experience decision-making intellectual software system, is a method which we make integrated evaluation to existed bridge . Using bridge evaluation expert system, we can provide consultation even lacking experts.In this paper, basic concept of expert system and then analyses the traditional expert system's knowledge in knowledge expression, such as production, semantic network, the composing and characteristic and excellence of expert system are also be introduced.For many relatively complex artificial intelligence systems, they sometimes contain complexity, imperfection faintness and uncertainty. When adopt production system or design structure of expert system, that designer build some uncertain question algebra model and computing, reasoning process. Fuzzy logic reasoning is a kind approximate reasoning. In this paper, the concept of fuzzy reasoning are introduced, and combining bridge evaluation expert system which we develop with structure and project institute, the use of fuzzy reasoning in expert system is describing.At last, in this paper, the design of bridge evaluation expert system is introduced. The basic structure of bridge evaluation expert system is introduced , then the data stream of it is described .The structure of bridge evaluation expert system and four model : bridges manager, structure damnification degree evaluation ,bear evaluation , literature help is introduced . After knowledge express of bridge evaluation expert system is introduced, because many fuzzy knowledge dispose is in bridge evaluation, in this paper ,the implement of fuzzy reasoning is introduced : the fuzzy knowledge express in bridge evaluation , and the implement of fuzzy reasoning base on fuzzy knowledge express and fuzzy processing ,synthesize of reasoning , remove fuzzy .At last , in order to maintenance and reused of system, a method which two evaluation methods are integrated in whole system by using ActiveX component is introduced .
