Study On Simulation Model Of Capability Of Channel For Huanghua Port

The channel is an indispensable part of the port; the capability of channel affects directly the capability of port, calculating the capability of channel is an import part of port planning. But the complexity of the channel and a great of factors from the environment induces the calculation of capability of channel is very difficult and not perfect, and the study of capability of channel using the riding high tide level is more lacking.The author does it in the different way from traditional methods. He builds a computer simulation model of port & channel system, and simulates the operating process of the system. The model considers the influence to the capability of channel, which comes from capability of berth, weather, tide etc.Based on systemic viewpoint, this paper analyzes the operating process of the port & channel system which is composed of anchorage, channel, berth, weather and tide etc, studies characters of these factors, discusses the influence to the capability of channel which comes from capability of berth, weather, tide etc.On the basis of system analysis, the system is divided into two parts: the outside driver subsystem and the inside operating subsystem. The outside driver subsystem is composed of the ship-generating subsystem, the weather-generating subsystem and the tide-generating subsystem. The inside operating subsystem is composed of the anchorage subsystem, the channel subsystem, the berth subsystem and the port & channel attemper subsystem.On the basis of system design and simulation theory of discrete system, this author builds a computer simulation model of port & channel system, and programs by Visual Basic.Net, generates a simulation soft of port & channel system which is universal on a certain extent.At last, the author simulates several plans of a practical project using the simulation soft. The simulation results are valuable to the port designers and the port managers.
