Comparative Study On Construction Engineering Quality Management System At Home And Abroad

After the entrance to WTO, Chinese construction industry will face new opportunities and challenges that never meet before. Construction engineering quality is vital for construction companies. The paper introduces the basic concepts on construction engineering quality management, the open time of our national construction industry and the challenges on construction engineering quality management, the present condition of construction engineering quality management system in our country is comprehensively analyzed in this paper. In addition, construction engineering quality management system in developed countries and regions, such as America, Germany and Singapore, is also analyzed, which includes the making and modifying laws and regulations, the functioning of quality system, the design of architecture and construction. By way of contrasting and analyzing, we realize that construction engineering quality management system in our country is far behind that in developed countries and is inadaptable to the market economy. At the same time, this paper also gives some advice as to how management system will be in line with international markets, how construction companies cope with challenges from international contractors, and how quality management department standardize the norms of engineering. It will be helpful to deeply reform the construction engineering and to improve construction engineering quality management system. Meanwhile, there will be practical significance to promote our country's building industry with healthy, stable, and rapid development.
