Recent years, remote monitor technology has been applied to many fields, since monitor technology has a lot of excellence. By using it, we have acquired much benefit. With the development of the computer and network, and with the rapid progress of embedded information process, traditional remote monitor can no longer satisfy people's demand nowadays. So people are paying attention to study a new way of remote monitor, which adapts to modern technology and becomes real time, efficiency and little regional limited. Especially with moden electric power corporation's construction and development, the automatic is applied in more and more area. They require more benefits and security. Remote monitor is needed in production and run of electry power, power attemper, nobody- duty in transformer substation etc.This paper studies the embedded Internet technology in application to electric power equipment based on modern remote monitor technology and embedded technology.First this paper compares several popular international projects of remote monitor system, and designs the projects, the hierarchical distributed structure system, which uses embedded TCP/IP technology and field bus technology. Then it introduces TCP/IP and CAN field bus. Afterwards it shows the hardware, the used chips; the software's scheme, flow chart, and the system's communication stipulation, frame's structure. Finally it describes the server software's design, and then analyses the technique of device's anti-disturbed and network security.
