Along with economic development rapidly, the residents of the electricity consumptiongreatly increased, the area has almost all over the country. The management of electric powermeasure in the electric power marketing is particularly important, and the development andreform of watt-hour meter has been in progress. With the deepening of the reform of powergrid, the concept of intelligent power grid is pervasive, intelligent power grid is thedevelopment of the trend of the Times, and energy metering automation management is alsosmart grid of the development of a important segment.Focusing in existing problems of IC card prepaid electric energy meter, this paper mainlydiscusses the function of the expansion on the IC card prepaid electric energy meter throughdrawing lessons from remote automatic meter. Combined with long-distance meter readingtechnology, the remote monitoring function of prepaid electric energy meter has been addedto the community IC card prepaid electric energy meter application, which makes itconvenience for management department as well as the user to get the information of homeenergy through the internet, and it will be more conducive to promoting the development ofthe electric power management modernization process. First the overall design of the systemand its implementation, then introduced the hardware components of the system and given thespecific circuit to achieve transplantation of μ/OS-II operating system, and in embeddedsystems, the use of micro-processing W7100in with the TCP/IP protocol stack to achieve theHTTP server, and use of the TCP server to complete the underlying prepayment meter datacommunications.The Embedded Web server also has come true, so that the user as well as the powersupply departments all can get the prepaid electric energy meter power-expenditureinformation through the browser, which reached for the IC card prepaid electric energy metermonitoring purpose, and it makes the power supply departments be better understand the userinformation without the need for electricity artificial way to meter reading on the calculationof the line loss, and we can use the terminal acquisition watt-hour meter electricity the modeof information to common watt-hour meter remote automatic meter reading techniques of thesystem.
