As the continuous increasing in running speed of trains, the problem of how to apply the break system of vehicle safely has been put in an important place. The key element that influences the performance safety of break system is the performance of break valve. In production, the performance test trial of break system was often made manaally and thus the accuracy and scienctific of test result was influenc.and more freedom. Therefore we made a monographic study in the automation of the performance test trial of the break valve of vehicles by applying for a research project in Zhengzhou Railway Bureau .Now we have finished the project , passed the examination made by The Committee of Science and Technology of Zhengzhou Railway Bureau and won the national patent. Today this project has been applied in some Rolling Stock Sections in Luoyang, Xinyang.Yueshan and Zhengzhou.Thisachievment is published by jounal of Changsha railway universityThis device is designed to change the former experiment done manually into autocontrolled so as to reduce labor intensity and increase the accuracy of test result. The principle is that the signals of auxiliary ventilation cylinder, train pipe and break cylinder pressure are received by the three single pressure sensor ,through the A/D transforming interfce to microcomputer . The singnal of electromagnetism valve and stepping motor is sent by main microcomputer through the I/O interfere, and then the K, H, F valves are drove by the stepping motor. The electromagnetism valve is used to coatrol the open and close of ventilating door, the stepping motor is used to control the rotation of the control break and the leak measurer is used to measure all kinds of leaks. By all these means it is possible for auto test and autographic record to be achieved...
