Transportation is the life line of the city. Constructing the top-ranking transportation system is the basic condition to accelerate the permanent development of economy and society. It is not only an important actor to buildup the urban general competitive power, but 'also the actual ensure to improve the living quality of urban resident.Urban transportation, which is involved in the economy, environment and living quality of a city, is an outstanding question within the whole world. Solving the traffic problem can not only strengthen the continuable development ability and promote the urban economy, but effectively ameliorate the urban environment and improve the living quality.At present, the integrated and effective city transportation system has been setup in foreign countries, such as intelligent transportation system, the smooth-coupling between different transportation mode and so on. Since the reform and open in China, however, there are many hidden-troubles of transportation though the urbanization level has been improved greatly. For instance, the city has been constructing more high-ways, but the increase of vehicles is much more than mileage, so that the traffic is aswarm and crowded, the living quality of citizens is depressed and the urban economy is blocked.So the research of humanistic city transportation becomes a necessary and pressing task. In brief, the humanistic city transportation requires: guiding the layout, management, education of city transportation and the design of transport establishment with the humanism principle and getting rid of the mistake of "vehicle first" so as to construct the comfort and pleasant living condition and accelerate the urban economy.The main jobs in this paper are as follows:1. Bring forward the viewpoint of humanistic city transportation and explain it from the humanistic layout, management and education of city transportation and the humanistic design of transportestablishment.2. Put forward the idea of simple crossroads on the road intersection to solve the traffic block of intersection and give 2 examples.3. As intelligent transportation, advise researching and using the information materials to compel to avoid the irregular steering and transport accidents.Also, the paper points that different transport models, combined with different actualities and characteristics of city transportation, have to be set up confirm the most suitable transportation system for different cities.It is a long term to successfully establish the humanistic -city transportation system, which will create the comfort and pleasant living condition and accelerate the urban economy. The wrong idea of "vehicle first" must be corrected within the layout, management and education of city transport and the design of transport establishment, and the new transportation idea of "human first" must be erected after a long term effort.
