With the rapid economic development, the scale engineering construction is becoming larger and larger meanwhile, the mass concrete arises in quantity in the normal industrial and civil construction buildings. Now for a long time, it has been very popular lhat the cracks from the cornmodity concrete and high shump concrete appear during constructions. In addition, the thermal release speed of the cement is comparatively much fester than that in the past, causing the problem of the thermal crack in the mass concrete rnore serious.The thermal crack problem of the mass concrete is very complicated, and correlative with structure, building material, construction, rock, circumstance,and so on.Now, in the construction field, the research on themass concrete used during hydraulic construction is more frequent than the others, white the research on the comparatively small mass concrete used in the normal buildings is not deep enough and comprehensive, the covering area in the related codes are limited and narrow. Many problems in construction practice have to be solved by the experience, rather than by theory. This phenomenon leads to much unnecessary waste of labor, material and financial resources, also the quality is unsatisfactory.The surface reasons of the thermal crack of mass concrete are summed up in this article based on a large number of references. The calculation method and thermal crack of mass concrete have been improved, which reaches the good result through practical application in mass concrete project, thermal control and thermal crack control. At the same time, the thermal control measure in this article is rational and effective.The measure to thermal control and crack control during mass concrete engine provides convenience for the samilar construction, also provides practical and theoretical reference for further theoretical research.
