The motor vehicle have become a brace of the society. with the development of the motor vehicle industry, there are more and more traffic accident. the accident imperial people's life. for defending and decreasing the traffic accident have become an important subject. In the background of more and more traffic accident the inspecting system for motor vehicle is produced. The system inspect the vehicle safety capability in running. With the development of the computer , the computer are used in the system . so the roboticized degree is improve a lot . the inspecting speed and efficiency are improved and provide the new inspecting method and performance for the worker. The inspecting system of motor vehicle from the eye of transport department lighten it's serving the society and from the eye of unit lighten it's payoff . The design of the computer automatic inspecting system for motor vehicle (CAISM) . Considering the two factors and other performance add some assistant performance . for example the inspecting data is kept , provide the single index stat . . showing the process curve of some test-bed . the vehicle are adjusted and arrange maintenance according the curve . all this exhibit it's serving the society , at same time reducing the cost of the system and shorten the inspecting time , that exhibit it's payoff. The CAISM base on the advanced system of other country in technology and the inspecting process and technical arrange accord with the standard in our country . The CAISM is excellent in the design . considering of the adaptability and the mutual means between people and computer . watching the process and manual work interface are added . The data is kept in data-base for the data manage . According to study the subject , a whole inspecting system for motor vehicle is establish . from demarcating the device and parameter setting to every inspecting position and data keeping are introduced . the system is automatic controlled which suit the request of increasing the output . the system improve the assemble and ensure the safety capability . The following tasks have been accomplished in this thesis:1.introduce the structure of the CAISM . the core of the CAISM is the computer . the system is made of two grades of computers. The first grade is slap-up computer , which is used arrange the order and display the graph and data . The second grade is industrial compute , which include several cpu unit . the work of industrial computer is collecting the data and control the process and judging giving an alarm or not . the terminal connect with the first grade's .computer and keep communication . CAISM adapt a lot of new technology for the adaptability of the system and increase other performance . the main equipment include : inspecting equipment , computer , assistant equipment . the working position include : logging in room , LP working position , ABS working position , HXD position and the main control room. 2.the design of the CAISMthe CAISM design include : log in , every working position , console and mimeograph . CAISM uses the log in process to send the data of vehicle to the computer.
