Airport surface traffic management system can ensure the security of the traffic of the airport, improve the efficiency of the airport and throughput of airport, have very important function. Over the past dozens of years, aviation transport service develops at a high speed, the airport surface surveillance and traffic management system (SSTMS) gets the extensive attention. This paper has recommended the status in quo of the SSTMS skill, and has widely deepened the discussion about it. This paper has put forward a SSTMS of a kind of high costperformance--the airport surface traffic management system based on DGPS/GIStechnologies, it main integrated differential GPS technology, geographical information system, route plan technology, wireless communication technology, computer software engineering, etc.. It has airport surface surveillance, airport traffic management, the route plan and taxi guiding on airport etc. This system has the characteristics that the price is low, the function is strong, is very suitable for medium and small airport to use. I have already completed some important functions of this system. But it need supplement and improvement. This paper transplants intellectual traffic technology and artificial intelligence technology to the airport surface traffic administrative system, this can be said to be the thought of a kind of innovation.
