| Recently, with the high-speed and steady development of the world economy, aircrafts engaged in civil aviation have grown year by year. The number of aircrafts, vehicles and people has grown rapidly. The surface security of the airport has been threatened severely. The objective of this paper is to develop an airport surface trackor system to aid the visual command and operation, to track, monitor and manage the moving target in real time, and to prevent the runway incursion and collision. So aircrafts and vehicles can work well and safely even in the atrocious weather conditions.Firstly, the structure and the function of the airport surface tractor system based on DGPS and GPRS techniques are introduced briefly in this paper. And then, the hardware and software of the system are investigated. Among them, the hardware specializes in the design of the vehicle terminal, including the display and operation module based on the ARM microprocessor, the positioning module based on GPS, the communication module based on GPRS, and design and fabrication of their relevant circuits. As to the software, the multi-process mode is adopted to realize the real-time control of the multi-mission in the vehicle terminal. The Python language and Qt libraries are combined in the design and the realization of all function modules in the monitor center. Then, the key problems that should be considered both in software design of the vehicle terminal and monitor center, like the electronic map, warning algorithm and commmunicaiton protocol, are emphasized and carried out. Finally, the real test about the system prototype is made. The result shows that the required function is achieved, and the effect is satisfying. |
