The Study Of Urban Spatial Structure Of Xi'an From The View Of Urban Competitiveness

The aim of this study is to opening out the inside relation of the urban competitiveness and the urban spatial structure, establishing an indicator system of urban spatial structure optimization which can reflect the urban competitiveness. Then, evaluated the urban spatial structure of xi'an. According to the evaluation result, the thinking and practicing countermeasures of urban spatial structure of xi'an had been put forward.In the part of theory study," agglomeration effects "had been regarded as the inside relation of urban competitiveness and urban spatial structure. The urban competitiveness accelerate the urban spatial structure optimization, on the other hand, the urban structure restrict the urban competitiveness cultivated. Then, the study of urban competitiveness and urban spatial structure of the domestic and international scholars had been used as the basis, established an indicator system of urban spatial structure optimization which can reflect the urban competitiveness.In the part of demonstration study, xi'an had been used as the object of studying. In the scope of national,9 cities and xi'an had been selected as the sample cities. Then, the related statistic data of 2001 of sample cities had been collected and used as the compare basis. Otherwise, the related statistic data of xi'an from 1997 to 2001 had been collected and used as the analyzed basis. The result is: Because the social effects and environment effects of urban spatial structure were drop behind, xi'an situated competitiveness inferior position in the sample cities. Developing foundation facilities of xi'an and managing environment had been regarded as the direction of the urban spatial structure optimization.Accoroding to the analysis of developing background of xi'an, the optimization thinking had been pointed out. The urban competitiveness should have perfect urban foundation facilities , daintily urban environment and trenchancy urban visualize, which can accelerate industry to centralize and increase the urban competitiveness.Finally, pointed out the urban management is the best way to urban spatial optimization and urban competitiveness cultivate. The some countermeasures which be used in urban management had been pointed out.
