| SO2 emissions from the power sector accounts for about 40% of the number of the country’s total emissions, the installed capacity of electric power enterprise development speed faster and faster, increasing pressure on SO2 emissions for environmental protection, reduction and control of thermal power plants of total SO2 emissions amount become the primary task of the state environmental protection department.According to the requirements of the Project, NMGJT company desulfurization unit constructed as EPC Construction Mode uses, including desulfurization system, including necessary with design, equipment selection, procurement, manufacturing, supply, transportation, storage, inspection, construction, installation and commissioning, testing, commissioning, eliminate defects, and other training and final delivery into production.In this paper, the use of desulfurization project design - Procurement Construction mode （EPC management mode）, desulfurization renovation project elaborated from a detailed analysis and schedule management, quality management, cost management and risk management are described project management research goals and significance.On the desulphurization renovation project schedule management, detailed lists of the total flue gas meter installation work schedule and strictly enforced; On project quality management, strictly control the quality of construction projects to determine the quality objectives and the preparation of quality plans, engineering design stage division and quality control of major aspects of proposed collaborative quality in EPC mode control; On project cost management, and the development of the main elements of measures desulphurization renovation project cost control; In engineering project risk management, how to identify and respond to risk is the key risk research.
