A Preliminary Study On The Regional Construction Of Zhoushan Island Residential Buildings

Zhoushan archipelago are located in the East China Sea. The special topography and climate characteristics in this area create a special island building form. Though the investigation of a typical fishing village in Zhoushan Xiazhi island, I have a deeper understanding of the island houses. The research object of this island residential category refers to the residential building under the background of fishing economy. Taking the village of Cha Ao in the island of Xia Ci as study object, I analyze the regional characteristics concerning the island village location, the structure of the building, the shape of the building as well as the building materials under the influence of special geographic environment as well as the climate; explore ecological design method, the concept of living and cultural connotation of the building adapt to the living environnement. From the individual to the general, I put forward a solution adaptive on the existing problems of the residential building the Cha Ao Village of the Xia Zhi island, as the purpose of summarize and improve the design the residential residence and apply it to the modern residential living environnement of island. It will produce some reference value for the substantial developpement of the fishing village residence.First introduction introduces the research background, leads the Zhoushan island residential buildings. The second chapter analysis the background of Zhoushan island residential buildings from the natural geography, climate, history and culture. Analysis of the region’s village location, history, local people’s production and life style, the building layout, architectural form, material and so on in the third chapter, taking Xiazhi Island Cha Ao village as the research object. Explores the climate adaptability of ecological technology experience, find out the valuable strategy, provide the theory for the following empirical approach architecture suitable for the development of the island. The fourth chapter analysis in the presence of the modern way of life the existing Island residential problem, then from the macro level, micro level of the island analysis the layout and the location of the building, outdoor courtyard space layout environment and indoor microclimate regulation were analyzed, summarizing the advantages and limitations of the traditional island houses ecological technology, put forward the corresponding improvement measures and recommendations concerning the shape, material and the corresponding structure of a single building, result a design scheme as discussion.
