Non-renewable water resources limit the effective utilization of water resources to satisfy both the need of water supply and minimum running cost and maximum benefits Because there is no research on the optimal operation of the raw water supply system, this paper is base on the methods and thoughts of former scholars on reservoir optimal operation and water supply system operation, and research the optimal operation of raw water in ZhouShan Island by Genetic Algorithmic (GA).This paper introduces the basic theoretic and application of GA briefly and gives a detailed exposition to the situation and particularity of water resource in ZhouShan Island. ZhouShan Island is served as a sea island which is particularity and complexity. There are researches on optimal operation of different local water supply and the whole waternets in raw water in ZhouShan Island which bases on both the peculiar water resources situation in ZhouShan Island and the operation principle of raw water. First, analyze and manage the actual data according to water network map and topographic map in ZhouShan. Then, describing the water supply mathematical relationship of raw water and simplifying the relationship. And building model and running the model in MATLAB by GA. Lastly, export convergence drawing and the relationship graphic of iterations, optimal solution and mean solution. From the result, it shows that convergence procedure by GA in MATLAB agree better with the normal.
